In the NTP OpenWRT dhcp announce
Short note: Whoever I had the problem that some applications like liferea can freeze the entire system if they make a bit of IO (a sqlite-db to use for example) I can recommend a downgrade to kernel 2.6.28, as 2.6.28-gentoo-r5. Ever since I switched from 2.6.33, I can again make multitasking and liferea does not require 20-30 seconds per item (!) For displaying, when times an image is included. Also, overall the system has become much more responsible and thus recovered. The problem, as such, stood by 80-90% iowait is - so I work in spite of dual cores could not, because the IO scheduler, the system has simply completely paralyzed. I hope the times will get better * sigh *
